We Are Scientists
Crap Attack

We Are Scientists release a collection of rarities and b-sides. It’s pretty brave to name an album Crap Attack, making it an easy target for critics if the album turns out to be a complete flop.

However, that’s not an issue, as the New York indie-rockers have avoided any cheap shots with this release, and won’t leave fans disappointed.

The trio confirm their status as one of the most exciting bands to come out of the Big Apple in recent years with new tracks and remixes, along side some inspiring covers including versions of Art Brut’s ‘Bang Bang Rock & Roll’ and most notably, Sigur Ros’ ‘Hoppipolla’.

The guitar work on ‘Hoppipolla’ shows a completely different side to the band, them providing an intelligent and creative performance. Their credibility is boosted with their cover of this complex track.

All in all this is an extremely rewarding listen and will no doubt help We Are Scientists to earn themselves the increased fan base that they deserve
