Cherry Lips
The
Archie Bronson Outfit have the potential to be huge. Sharing
a label with Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys, the stage is
there for this Wiltshire three-piece folk-rock outfit to go
places.
In all fairness, ‘Cherry Lips’ is quite possibly
a better song than both of those two bands have ever released.
It all sounds a bit scuzzy and bluesy, with a lot of indie rock
thrown in there. There’s a brooding atmosphere about this
band that sound like a mix between the 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster
and Kings of Leon, without the intensity of the former.
If you like this kind of thing, buy it. You could do a lot worse!
