Uni takes the glory at Wallasey
The BUSA Golf Men’s Northern Regional Strokeplay Qualifier
took place on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 February at Wallasey Golf Club

with Birmingham University taking both the Men’s and Women’s
Individual Events.
With a total of 15 eagles from the 74 competitors over the two days

it out at the renowned Wallasey Golf Club. Sam Riddell (Birmingham)
had a consistent few days scoring an impressive 70 in both rounds 1
and 2, finishing 4 under par and leading the field. Daniel Sefton (Central
Lancashire) equalled Riddell’s 70 on day 1 but dropped one shot
in the race behind Riddell on the second day. England under 18 star
and current leader of BUSA Golf Regional Strokeplay Qualifiers Adam
Best (Teesside) joined as a fresher and played a stunning winning 67
